Digital Maps and Positioning Consultation Services
As smartphones and mobile networks have become popular, Hong Kong has great potential to develop digital maps and positioning services. Indoor map positioning, apart from facilitating the independent travel of the disabled or people in need, venues can also use digital maps for marketing and management. Since 2019 we have been actively promoting indoor digital maps and launching the “Smart City Walk” mobile application while providing professional map production, consultation and testing services for different venues.

Technical Specifications
We use digital flat map combined with Wi-Fi fingerprint positioning technology as well as using the venue Wi-Fi network to provide users with real-time positioning information, and use audio and text instructions to provide indoor navigation services. Compared with other indoor navigation technologies, venues using Wi-Fi fingerprint positioning technology do not need to install hardware, which can greatly reduce setup and maintenance costs, and provide users with an accurate indoor navigation experience.

The malleable digital flat map technology can meet the needs of venues’ management or different marketing strategies, adding custom-made enhancements to the map, such as:
